BCA
& BSc (BIS) |
| 1.0 Duration |
| The BCA and BSc(BIS) programme has the
minimum duration of 3 years. Student can complete it within
5 years. But if anyone fails to complete the degree within
5 years he/she will be required to reregister for the
programme again. |
| 2.0 Semester system |
A semester system has been adopted by YCMOU
for its academic programmes. In this scheme, an academic
year consists two semesters each of 6 months duration.
BCA / BSc(BIS) has 6 semesters. |
| 3.0 Eligibility |
| The student should have passed |
- XIIth of HSC Board of Maharashtra, or its equivalent
examination
OR
- 3 year Diploma of Board of Technical Examination
or equivalent
Students of science (with mathematics) have many channels
to pursue higher education. Now, students of science
(without mathematics) can also get admission to BCA
/ BSc(BIS). YCMOU has opened a channel even for Arts
and Commerce students to pursue BCA / BSc(BIS) programme.
